BeReal now has a Streaks feature, where you can earn a streak by posting every day. Streaks can help you post more often and provide a fun way to see how active you are on BeReal. But how do they work?
What Is a BeReal Streak?
A BeReal Streak is a counter of how many days in a row you have posted on the app.
Once you post for five days in a row, you will notice aflame iconappear on your profile picture in the upper right corner of the home screen. If you tap on that, you will see your profile with theflame iconand the number of days you’ve posted in a row next to it. This is your streak.
They are similar toSnapchat Streaks, but differ in a few ways. BeReal uses your posts to determine your streaks. On Snapchat, the app is counting your Snaps with friends, so you can have different streaks with each friend.
How Do I Get A BeReal Streak?
You earn a streak on BeReal by posting every day.Posting on BeReal is easyif you are a beginner. Your streak will start once you post your fifth BeReal in a row. Posts from before the feature launched will retroactively count, so you may already have a streak.
Notably,Bonus BeRealsandRealGroups BeRealsdo not count for your streak. You need to post a BeReal at least once each day before the next BeReal notification to keep a streak. Late BeReals count, so you don’t need to post on time.
You cannot reclaim a streak or get it back once you break it. You just have to start over. This is another way that streaks on BeReal differ to Snapchat.On Snapchat you can get your streak back.
How Do I See My Current and Past BeReal Streaks?
You have to access yourMemorieson BeReal to view your streaks. There are two ways: either tap thecalendar iconfrom the home screen or tapView all my Memoriesat the bottom of your profile screen.
The orange dates are part of a streak. There will be aflame iconon the start date of every streak.
