Summary
Fast & Furious 11gets a new update from Vin Diesel, who teases some of the cars set to appear in the sequel as he continues his driving training. After getting its start back in 2001, theFast & Furiousfranchise returned for its tenth installment last year, chronicling Dom’s (Diesel) struggle against Dante (Jason Momoa), a new villain. Now, Dom and his crew of drivers are gearing up to return in theupcomingFast & Furious 11, with returning director Louis Leterrier, and Diesel teased in May that he had already started track training for the film.
Now,Dieselshares another Instagram post from the track as hisFast & Furious 11preparation continues, this time teasing some of the muscle cars set to appear in the film. Check out his post below:

“We’re on our way…” Diesel writes in his caption, accompanying a video of a truck at a racetrack with three black Dodge muscle cars on it. It’s possible that they’re the same cars featured in previous installments, with Dom having shown a clear affinity for Dodge Chargers, but the constant evolution of his vehicles over the past 20 years makes it hard to say for sure.
Fast & Furious 11 Could Bring Back Grounded Car Action Scenes
Vin Diesel’s Driving Training Is A Positive Sign
After having its release date bumped back a year,Fast & Furious 11is now slated to release in summer 2026. Filming on the project is expected to get underway in early 2025, meaning Diesel is getting quite a head start on his training for the film. While no plot details have been shared from the movie just yet, the fact that Diesel is already hitting the track and training in various cars suggests the movie could be returning to the franchise’s roots in one key way.
While some of the laterFast & Furiousmovieshave been the franchise’s most successful, there’s been a clear move away from more grounded, practical action sequences. Cars no longer just stick to roads in the franchise, but often fly through the air, do flips, drive down dams, and inF9: The Fast Saga, go to outer space. While some of these stunts are still pulled off using practical methods, the car action in the franchise has started to feel more VFX-heavy, meaning actors aren’t often needed to do any real stunt driving.

Fast X Cliffhanger Ending Explained
Fast X leaves off on a cliffhanger that puts most of the characters' lives at risk. We break down the ending, character returns & mid-credits scene.
Diesel’s driving training, however, would suggest that the star will be behind the wheel for some intense sequences inFast & Furious 11. Considering the upcoming film could be the last in the main Fast Saga,a return to the franchise’s roots with some grounded and gritty driving action scenes could be a great way to honor Dom’s origins. It remains to be seen howFast & Furious 11will compare to other recent installments, but hopefully Diesel will continue to post updates on social media teasing what’s to come from Dom’s next adventure.
