Since the gamelaunched as an Apple Arcade exclusive, many were quick to write it off but those who did giveSplintered Fatea try were likely impressed by its depth. The combat is challenging but fair as each Turtle has a unique playstyle, weapons, and abilitiesthat must be mastered to stand a chance against the tough enemies that will be encountered at the end of a run. The progression loop is also satisfying with plenty of upgrades to earn through gameplay.
Whether or not the PC version ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fateworks as smoothly as fans would like remains to be seen. Given that it’s likely a port of the Nintendo Switch version, there could be some issues with textures and underwhelming graphics as is often the casewhen bringing a game over from the hybrid console. Fortunately, the game should be solid enough that those issues can be overlooked by anyone looking forward to killing droves of enemies as the world’s most beloved mutants.
