If you ever want to save multiple web pages for offline viewing, these two Chrome extensions can come in handy.

Both these extensions save all open tabs in PDF format, so you can read stuff later, perhaps during your flight or commute.

1Tab Merge

Tab Merge is a no-fuss extension that saves all open tabs in no time. After downloading the extension, click theextension iconand selectTab Merge. This opens a new tab with all other open tabs merged into it. In the top right corner, click onPrint.

Then, from the Print dialog box, you’re able to save the tabs as a PDF in your desired folder.

Though the extension works great, it doesn’t have a decent rating on the Chrome Web Store. Looking at the reviews, it is probably because it didn’t work properly in the past, but the latest reviews show that other users find it useful.

2Print All Open Tabs

Print All Open Tabs is a simple extension with a pretty self-explanatory name.

Open all tabs you want to save for later, click theextension icon, and selectPrint All Open Tabs. The extension asks whether you want to save tabs as a single PDF or multiple PDFs (a separate PDF for each tab).

Once you choose an option, Print All Open Tabs automatically startscapturing scrolling screenshots of the open tabs, converts them to a PDF, and saves them to your default download folder.

Though a useful extension, the process takes a little time, as it captures screenshots. However, this retains the original layout of the web page, making it easier to read.
