Research can allow you to unlock various characters and weapons, but being able to get this Launcherwithout having to spend tons of materials on researchmakes it better. This Launcher can propel players into the endgame and easily stay with them until the end.

There is no researching this weapon with Anais or hoping to find this weapon out in the wild like you can with other weapons. The Vestigial Organ mustbe found by completing the “Miragestone: Vulgus Strategic Outpost Zone ReconMission"or the “Previous Construct Team Quarters Battlefield"Missionwithin the Agna Desert region. In Normal mode, you have about a30% chance of getting this weapon droppedupon completing the mission as one of your rewards.

However, if you are up to the task and want a slightly higher chance of success, you can try themission on Hard mode and instead have a 50% chance of getting the reward. You can try it as many times as you want, but the mission is on a timer, so you will have to keep an eye on the event to knowwhen it opens and closesso you can continue to give it a go. You may have more success if youcomplete the mission with friends inThe First Descendant.

You can continue leveling your Vestigial Organ up, but you will need toreach Mastery Rank 3 to access the Weapon Level Transmission. This is located at the Repair Station Workbench, where you can view the requirements to level up your new weapon. You will need50 Superalloy, 2500 gold, and 2:30 of research time to do so the first time. It is worth improving those stats, so prioritize it if possible.

However, your weapon will come withcertain traits that you can re-roll. It is possible to lock in one and continue to re-roll others so you can customize your weapon to your liking. The suggested roles to look for are:
