Pyromaniac is one of the toughest bosses thatThe First Descendanthas to offer at the moment. Beating him gives awesome rewards, but it’s not easy to do. On top of being faster than Bunny with hyper-accurate tracking, he also lobs fireballs that can really mess you up if you don’t get out of the way. It’s no wonder that Pyromaniac’s fight is one of the hardest in the game.
The First Descendantis a hero-based looter shooterwith a varied cast of characters, each with their own abilities and skills. HP, Fire Resist, And Ice Damage Are Your Best Friends
The Pyromaniac is tough to beat, so knowing its weak spots will be immensely helpful in surviving long enough to finish it off. Having a good roster of heroes is important when fighting this boss; the harder hitting, the better. Grab a few friends and make sure you’re all kitted out before loading into the lobby, but the value of coordination that playing with a team provides cannot be understated. Now that you’re in the lobby, get ready to fight.

Defeating The Pyromaniac In The First Descendant
Focus On His Weak Points While Staying On The Move
As noted above, this is a fast boss. The first thing you’ll notice once the fight starts is just how difficult dodging his attacks can be. Instead of staying in one place, hoping to tank all his damage, stay light on your feet so that he doesn’t have a chance to lock on to your position.Barriers can really come in clutch for this fight, as not only are they a good way to avoid damage when you’re not quick enough to move, but they can also be used to shield teammates from incoming fire.
Pyromaniac also has a few destructible/removable parts that you may focus on.The Sensor, Core Cover, and Balancercan be destroyed, whilethe Core and Shoulderare removable. Hitting these spots will allow you to do some more consistent damage and also weaken him while you fight.

The Tamer is one of the better machine guns inThe First Descendantwith good damage and rate of fire, so if you’ve got it, throw it on for this fight. If you want to change its damage type, head to Albion’s Workbench and switch your Weapon Mods.
Pyromaniac’s attacks are primarily close-range, which is why you’ll want to stay a good distance away. One of the attacks you’ll have to watch out for, no matter your range,is the large orange circles that expand out from the middle of the arena. They damage you if they hit you, so make sure you’re avoiding them even as you do damage.

Finally, make sure you’re taking care of any ads as they pop up. The KingFishers that appear here are no joke, so taking them out as fast as possible will leave you free to fight the Pyromaniac without taking extra damage. They also drop bullets and healing items when you defeat them, so they can be a good resource if you’re running low during the fight.Keep everything here in mind, and you should be able to defeat the Pyromaniac with time to spare.
