The Family ChantelstarPedro Jimenowas accused of being just like his cheating, lying father on the show - Chantel called Pedro out, and it’s time to share all the main reasons whyPedro’s a big-time chauvinist. Male chauvinist pigs seem like relics from a bygone era - the 70s, for example. They don’t view women as equals and treat them accordingly, expecting them to cook, clean and look sexy. There’s more to being a woman than that, but that’s all that guys like Pedro care about. They’re too shallow to want more.

Before he left her,Pedro put Chantel downto the point where she didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning - that’s why the male chauvinist pig label fits him to a “T.“Like a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal emerging from a prehistoric cave for the sole purpose of putting a woman down, Pedro’s tactics were barbaric.Yes, he was probably trying to get Chantel to leave him so he wouldn’t have to leave her, but how wimpy is that? What could be worse than being a male chauvinist piganda wimp? Not much.

8Pedro Whined About Chantel’s Sloppy Housekeeping

He Was Just Trying To Break Her Emotionally

In theTLCat YouTube clip shown above, Pedro seemed happy to own a new house with Chantel. They worked in the yard, where he could caress his beloved lawn tools. Quite often, Pedro seemed more enchanted by inanimate objects than his own beautiful wife. Remember how he was basicallyin love with his gaming chair? Chantel could not compete with that thing.

Luckily, the fiesty queen Karen Everett sold that iconic piece of furniture for one dollar. That was an amazing and empowering move - Karen’s really got her daughter’s back.

Pedro and Chantel’s house purchase turned into a nightmare. Their idyllic lifestyle didn’t last long. Soon enough, the good times working out in the yard were just memories. He began hassling her all the time. She worked long shifts as a nurse and when the day was done, Chantel was tired. She spent the day cleaning up messes that patients made, and wasn’t motivated to do housework all night. Her job was way harder than his.

Instead of recognizing this obvious fact,Pedro twisted the knife. He kept harassing the woman who loved him unconditionally. His job as a realtor might be demanding in some ways, but it doesn’t hold a candle to hers. All he has to do is dress up and attempt to charm people into buying homes. When he couldn’t wrap his head around that, he seemed like a monster, creep and chauvinist.

7Pedro Jimeno Is Just Like His Father

Pedro’s dad was a bad apple. He was married to one woman and had kids with her. Then, there was Lidia Morel, Pedro’s mom. She was the other woman, and this mistress bore his children. Pedro’s dad was living a double life, and he gave Lidia money, but what sorts of values was he teaching his children? Pedro didn’t get a lot of emotional support from his dad - he often felt like he didn’t have a father. His sister, Nicole Jimeno, probably felt the same way.

The twisted values that Pedro’s dad promoted were, in some ways, passed down to his children. He didn’t have an honest, kind and loving father who showed him what being a real man was all about. He had a shady dad who broke rules, hurt two women, and neglected some of his kids. Also, Pedro’s mom is such a cold and mercenary woman.

How could two parents like this produce a man that treats women well? The answer seems to be that they couldn’t.Maybe that wasn’t his fault - everyone is formed by their experiences. However, at some point, Pedro should have grown up enough to realize that emotionally abusing a wife because he wanted to end the Green Card relationship just wasn’t cool. Using a woman is pretty chauvinistic, no? Pedro was following in his dad’s footsteps.

6Pedro’s Greed Is Out Of Control

He Sees Women As Wallets

Pedro isn’t the nicest guy - that is clear. He is consumed with living out the American Dream. He wants money and everything that it can buy. He’s into cars and clothes, and his image seems all-important, but who is he really? Under the perfect surface there is so much darkness. It’s not his fault that people are charmed by his appearance. However, he plays into that by tricking women. The stuff he did to Chantel was evil and it was probably done for the sake of cold, hard cash.

Why else would a man do this to his wife? Pedro is just coldhearted. He’s always denied using Chantel but it’s obvious that he did. He waited a certain amount of time (more than five years) before morphing into a completely different man. That’s because he was beginning to be himself. He unmasked, showing the world (and a horrified Chantel) who he was. However, there were countless red flags. There’s no way she didn’t have doubts about Pedro sometimes.

He used their money to help his family. Pedro didn’t care if he was taking money away from Chantel. Possibly, his mother and sister were conspirators in his scheme to dupe Chantel for a Green Card and cash. That would explain why they brazenly mocked her. If he really loved that woman, they probably wouldn’t have been as mean. He looked down on Chantel like a true sexist but his family did too.

5Pedro Seems Like A Cheater

Chantel Thinks He Was Unfaithful

Pedro may have a heart of stone. After his split with Chantel, he tried to date Coraima Morla. Remember how often he gaslit Chantel about her? Whenever Chantel was suspicious about Coraima, who was always lurking, trying to get with Pedro, he would basically imply that his wife was delusional for questioning their “friendship.” That’s exactly what cheaters do - what else can they do? The fact that he wanted to date Coraima after his split seems to indicate that he had a creepy plan from day one.

Pedro did some dirty dancing with Chantel and that’s not a euphemism. They did dance together and Pedro’s sister recorded the whole thing and made sure Chantel saw it. Of course, Pedro said that didn’t mean anything. He was lying because he did want to date Coraima after his divorce. The whole time, Pedro was lying through his teeth! He had Chantel believing some truly sketchy stuff. That’s because she wanted to believe him, and believe in him. This chauvinist never stopped to think about how he made his wife feel.

4Pedro May Have Cheated With A Coworker Too

Did He Get Romantic With Laura Delgado?

Pedro is so focused on achieving his goals that he will manipulate women to get his way. He did it to Chantel and may have romanced his boss Laura Delgado too. However, Laura’s a pretty cool customer - she won’t be sharing secrets about Pedro anytime soon. In fact, as the “other woman,: she’s ideal. She has to protect her reputation in the real estate industry. She isn’t going to reveal troublesome facts that might embarrass Pedro.

What’s really awful is the fact that Chantel confided in Laura. Imagine confiding in the other woman, not knowing that she was the real problem (or one of them) in the relationship. If any of this is true, it shows just how low Pedro will sink. Sure, he looks good, but that’s not enough to make up for the horrors that he inflicts. Chantel was duped by a guy who can wrap women around his finger. She was jealous the whole time. What kind of life is that? It’s not worth it.

3Pedro Is So Into His New Alpha Image

Was He Always This Arrogant?

On Instagram,Pedrois all about crass self-promotion. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with loving a career - that’s a positive thing. He’s into being a realtor, and he’s said onscreen that he’s making money from it. The real problem is that he’s glossing over so many bad things about himself, trying to create an alpha male image that just doesn’t ring true.

Only the most chauvinistic men dream of being “alphas.” Real “alphas,” if they are out there (and that’s a big “if”) do not need to try so hard. They are naturally confident people.

Pedro’s sexist dream of taking over America is probably the reason why he’s posing as an alpha in promo posts, including jokey videos that reference viral trends. Sure, some of the clips are cute, but really, Pedro’s not there to show his true self. He’s not really so jokey. This guy is more like a human cash register. The joking around is just a way to get power by getting money.

2Pedro Is All About Pedro

His Ego Is So Sexist

Pedro’s ego is out of control. He’s swanning around in tight pants and shirts, showing off the ripped body that he built through Muay Thai workouts. He’s preening in front of the camera like a Hollywood movie star. Yes, Pedro could probably make it in Hollywood - his look is that glossy and commercial. The problem is that Pedro knows he looks amazing - he’s basking in his handsomeness, and reveling in the effect that it has on other people.

His Instagram close-ups are dazzling - perfect teeth, smooth skin and that aforementioned “alpha male” attitude all come together, creating social media posts that intrigue even his haters. Yes, women hang around Pedro’s IG, seemingly to shade him for hurting Chantel… but they’re always looking at what he posts. Maybe they just want to get a rise out of the pretty boy who graced screens during his The Family Chantel stint. Some of these haters would probably date him if they could.

1Pedro Crushed Chantel & Never Really Apologizes

He Knows What He Did To Her

Pedro has never fully addressed the damage he’s caused. He made Chantel think he was Prince Charming but really, he was more like one of those sociopaths that are shown in true crime documentaries. Pedro abused his power as a man by tricking Chantel. He made her think she’d found the perfect man. His former friend said that he planned the whole thing. Chantel believes that person.

Is anything worth doing this to another human being? It any kind of payoff enough to justify the collateral damage? No, not in a typical person’s mind. However, Pedro may not be neurotypical. Maybe his conscience isn’t as sensitive and emotional as most people’s. Maybe that’s the reason why it’s so easy for him to act and lie.

He says he loved Chantel but where is the proof of that? There’s no proof at all. If he had loved her, would he leave her crying in bed because of his insults? Would he rant about his gaming chair instead of caring how she felt? Would he attempt to date the woman he dirty danced with after leaving Chantel and breaking her heart into a million little pieces. No way. No one who ever loved anyone would do that.

Pedro grew up in a male-dominated culture. However, that is no excuse for this kind of appalling sexism. He should apologize, opening up about how he was pressured to use Chantel by his family. He should try to make amends. That’s really the only thing that could lead to a fresh start and some kind of redemption.
