Cineversehas now unveiledthe official trailer forTerrifier 3. Check it out below:

After setting up the fact that the movie takes place five years after the events ofTerrifier 2and showcasing a monologue about evil, the trailer reintroduces Art the Clown, taking a chainsaw to a showering couple while wearing a Santa Claus outfit. What follows is a combination of Art playfully mocking the trappings of Christmas while continuing his bloody rampage as Sienna struggles to decipher if what she is seeing is real or a product of her traumatic memories.
Can Terrifier 3 Possibly Up The Ante?
Terrifier 2 Set A High Bar
The horror franchise has become known for its extreme gore and violence, particularly in thecontroversialTerrifier 2bedroom scene. Especially because the sequel’s intensity helped it get noticed and become a notorious must-see property in 2022,it seems likely that the new movie will seek to be even bigger and bloodier than before. It remains to be seen how that is possible, considering the fact that the modern slasher icon has already delivered some of the goriest deaths imaginable onscreen.
However, this trailer shows that the newArt the Clown movieseems to be pulling out all the stops in a variety of ways in an attempt to one-upTerrifier 2. This includes more than just gore. Sienna’s storyline about surviving trauma adds a new wrinkle to the already metaphor-heavy “angel warrior” character arc she had in her first appearance, andadding the Christmas season into the mix allows Art the Clown to subvert aspects of a holiday that is generally perceived as much more wholesomethan Halloween, the time when he has always appeared in the past.

Halloween-set installments in the franchise include the first twoTerrifiermovies as well as Art’s earlier appearance in the anthology movieAll Hallows' Eve, as played by Mike Giannelli.
TheTerrifier 3trailer may be showcasing many other ways it is upping the ante, but gore is nevertheless still front and center. From the introductory shower death to Art doing a snow angel in a puddle of blood to the tease of a possible massacre of kids who are visiting a mall Santa, the movie is not skimping on the extreme violence the franchise is known for. Whether or not it can outdo what has come before, it seems to be making a solid attempt.
