A desperate Lois Lane puts on a Black Mercy headpiece in hopes of helping Clark, leading a major portion of episode 9 to feature Lois inside of Clark’s mind, trying to free him from Braniac’s influence. This is where a superpowered Lois Lane gets in on the action, as it’s revealed that Superman’s belief in Lois imbues her with some considerable superpowers within this reality.
As such, Lois finds herself able to catch a punch from a simulation version of Jor-El before she hits him away with tremendous force. After that, Superman and Lois team up in an exciting little action scene before ultimately freeing Clark from Braniac’s influence.Having Lois be superpowered for even a brief moment is a fantastic choice, allowing her to get in on the action alongside Superman, which plays into both of their characters and the love they have for each other.
