Smallvillestar Tom Welling reveals some exciting details behind a brand new, massive 2025 event that will bring theDCTV show’s cast and fans together. It has been over a decade sinceSmallvillecompleted Clark Kent’s journeyto becoming Superman, but the show is bigger than ever across the world. With streaming and conventions, fans have been able to celebrateSmallvillewith their favorite actors in various countries, but 2025 will raise the bar for the audience experience.
ScreenRantrecently sat down with Welling at this year’s Comic-Con Stockholm, looking back at the legacy ofSmallvillebut also the future of the show’s engagement with the fandom. During the interview,ScreenRantgot the first exclusive details on a new event being set up to launch in 2025 through The Vactioneer:Cruiseville. Welling revealed the first set of cast members who will be joining Cruiseville on its 7-day cruise, adding the following:
Tom Welling: It is a brand new idea; you guys are the first to really talk about it, which is going to be great. We’ve been working on it for about two years, and we’re going to go down numerous ports of call. It’s me, Michael, Erica, Laura [Vandervoort.] Kristin [Kreuk] can’t make it, and then we’re going to add some more people. And during the 7-day cruise, we have daily excursions that you may choose to do with different actors. Michael wants to do everything together with me, so we’ll probably do that.
It’ll be fun - there’s one day that we get off the boat, and there’s Aztec temples, and I’ll have a group of people that come with me. June 15-22, 2025! Hopefully, we get a big turnout, and we do more of them, but I think it’s going to be pretty cool. I guess one of the ways, you even said, it’s like doing a con, but you’re not at the con all day. It’s really only a couple hours of the day that there’s things we have to do, and after that, you’re just chilling.
Exclusive Opportunities To Connect With Smallville Stars Through Cruiseville
The Cruiseville event will begin in Port Canaveral, Florida, starting on June 27, 2025,and the cruise will takeSmallvillefans through some fantastic locations. The trip then takes everyone to Cococay, Bahamas on day 2, while 3 continues the cruising. By day 4, the Cruiseville team will be in Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, before continuing the cruise to Roatán, Honduras, on day 5. On day 6, the cast and fans who are on the trip will be in Cozumel, Mexico, before the cruise continues on day 7, getting back to Port Canaveral, Florida. Cruiseville will officially take place between June 15-22, 2025.
Welling also revealed toScreenRantsome of the activities thatSmallvillefans can look forward to during Cruiseville. Along with autographs, plenty of photo opportunities with the cast, and VIP packages,Welling previewed some of the excursions that will be included on Cruiseville. While pricing and availability will be revealed shortly, Welling teased activities such as Jet-skiing with him or zip-lining withSmallville’sown Lois Lane, Erica Durance,as he added the following:
But whether it’s Jet-skiing with Tom or Ziplining with Erica, or lunch or a dinner, all these different things will be offered. You can choose whatever you want in a sense and I’ve never done one before. JP, he’s done it with Star Trek and other casts, and apparently it’s just fun. I’ve never even been on an actual cruise ship before. I’ve been on boats, but I’ve never been on a cruise ship. So this will all be new for me, but hopefully, the turnout’s going to be really big, and if it is, we’ll do it again. If not, then this’ll be it. You can find information at Cruiseville.com!
