As part of the Sakurajima update inPalworld,a host of new Pals, including Dogen, have been added to the game. The new Sakurajia update has provided a host of changes inPalworld. Despite its neutral element, it is one of the most interesting new Pals in terms of its appearance and background story. It is not known to be a hostile Pal and will not be the first to attack, only if you enter combat with it. Due to this, it has high defensive stats compared to many of the other Pals.
Several new Pals have been introduced to Palworld, includingLullu and Dogen, which can be added to your collection in various ways. The most common way to add anew Pal is by finding one in the wildbefore battling and catching it. However, you can also obtain them by breeding two Pals together before hatching an egg. Dogen is worth seeking out, as it can be helpful in combat and comes with the Homeward Prayer Partner Skill.

Where To Find Dogen
Due to being added toPalworldas part of the recent update,Dogen can only be found in the new Sakurajima area. This area is separate from the main map that has been in the game since the launch of the game and can only be initially traveled via flying or surfing to the new region.
The Sakurajima area brings new items such as theRing of Freight, Dogen can be found casually wandering around any area of Sakurajima, but there is one location where you are more likely to come across one.
Dogen is most commonly found in the Moonflower Tower area of the map.
Once you reach the Moonflower Tower area of the map, if you keep searching around the area, you should be able to find one. You can find Dogen in this location during the day and at night. Finding a Dogen is only half the battle, as they can be tricky to catch. Your best bet isto battle it with a Dark element Pal, which has an advantage over Dogen, which will be quickly able to take down its health. To give yourself a better chance of capturing a Dogen, throw a Legendary Sphere at it once its health is low.

Due to its neutral type,Dogen has one of the most options for breeding with 160 combinations,according toPalpedia. This means that once you combine two Pals to make a Dogen, you can do so at a Breeding Farm. There needs to be a male and a female Pal to be able to breed. Once you have completed this step, you will receive a breeding egg that needs to be placed into an Egg Incubator. However, the type of Incubator you use determines how long it will take to hatch. This can include theElectric Egg Incubator, which speeds up the process. To increase the speed at which eggs hatch in the standard incubator, you must fulfill specific criteria to create the perfect temperature.
If you defeat or catch a Dogen in the wild,it will also drop certain itemsthat can be picked up and will help you on your journey. If you can locate and beat a Dogen, it will drop Bones, which are used to create high-quality Paldium but can also be sold for gold. Dogen is one of the most interesting new additions toPalworldand can be obtained by catching it in the wild or through breeding.
