Go Min-si & Song Kang’s K-Drama Careers Are Tied To Each Other

Go Min-si & Song Kang Have Been In Two Netflix Originals Together

It is difficult to discuss Song Kang’s Netflix success without mentioning Go Min-si’s career and vice versa. The story of how Korean dramas became so popular on Netflix intersects with the story of Song Kang and Go Min-si’s friendship, which traces back toLove Alarm.Song Kang played the leading role of Sun-oh inLove Alarm, and while his character was involved in a complex love triangle, he also interacted a lot with Go Min-si’s character. The two stars would reunite less than a year later forSweet Homeas Hyun-su and Eun-yu.

HavingThe Frogrelease shortly afterSweet Homeseason 3 is a great idea considering how great Go Min-si was in the latter.

Most Song Kang K-dramas are available on Netflixworldwide, including traditional broadcast shows that aired in South Korea before landing on streaming. The same is not the case for Go Min-si, whose career includes some great K-dramas that are not available on Netflix. For example,Youth of May, which starsGo Min-si and Lee Do-hyun, is available on Kocowoa and Viki. Regardless, two of Netflix’s most successful original K-dramas feature both Song Kang and Go Min-si. It will now be interesting to see Go Min-si leading her own webseries.

Go Min-si’s Performance In Sweet Home 3 Makes The Frog Even More Exciting

Go Min-si’s Eun-yu Was A Highlight Of Sweet Home Season 3

HavingThe Frogrelease shortly afterSweet Homeseason 3 is a great idea considering how great Go Min-si was in the latter. Thankfully,Eun-yu was given a lot of screen time in seasons 2 and 3, even thoughSweet Homeintroduced a lot of new characters and sidelined some of the original protagonists. Eun-yu’s journey alongside Private Park in season 2 was fun, but seeing her reunite with her brother in season 3 was even better.Sweet Home3 delivered the long-awaited return ofLee Do-hyun’s Eun-hyeok, which was followed by a bittersweet reunion between siblings.

The Frogreleases on August 01, 2025, on Netflix.

Eun-yu’s interactions with Hyun-su were also great, particularly because the evil version of Song Kang’s character was the one behind the wheel for most of the season. It was fun to see how Hyun-su continued to care about Eun-yu even though his monster self was taking over, all but confirming that he had feelings for her. Eun-yu almost had a tragic ending considering she was infected, but fortunately,Sweet Homehad already proven that neohumans can learn how to have feelings again. After such a strong performance inSweet Home3, I’m excited to see Go Min-si in her nextK-drama.
