Twodos is a free, simple to-do app for iPhones. What separates it from every other to-do app on offer? Let’s take a look at the new minimalist to-do list app and its dual-list approach.
What Is Twodos?
Twodos is a task management app that launched on 21 February, in a crowded marketplace;there are many to-do apps available. But Twodos has a couple of nice tricks up its sleeve.
Aside from its simple interface and minimalist approach, Twodos is a rare case of a free app that does not include in-app purchases or advertising and does not collect any data. The app is a passion project, by an individual developer who simply likes to make apps.

Twodos uses a familiar format, letting you add and edit tasks, display them in a list, and remove them when complete. That simple approach is the core focus of the app.
How TwoDos Stands Out: The Two List Approach
Twodos’ main selling point is its simplicity and ease of use. Possibly leveraging its position as a non-commercial release, the app provides as little functionality as possible. The creator is adamant about their commitment to resist extra features:
This philosophy is embodied by the “two lists” approach. Twodos forces you to add every task to either the “Sooner” list, or the “Later” one. Although this might sound restrictive, it keeps everything straightforward, encouraging you to focus on the tasks rather than how to classify them. As a result, you should be able todo more in less time.
You can access each of the few available functions with a single action, including:
You can expand or contract each list, focusing on either one or showing both to suit. Each list shows a total count of tasks on it and scrolls if you have more than a few.
Twodos is available from the iPhone App Store and is free to download. Like any “iPhone-only” app, you can also run it on an iPad, scaled up to fill the display.
