Summary
After an excruciatingly long break,Jujutsu Kaisenis back with a new chapter that sees the series' most unexpected hero spell Sukuna’s defeat. Owing to Gege Akutami’s health issues,Jujutsu Kaisenwas forced to go on an extended break, but the series has finally returned with the second part of chapter #262 with more exciting developments in store.
As Yuta struggles against Sukuna in his new body, chapter #262-2 ofJujutsu Kaisensees Inumaki lay the path for Yuta to attack Sukuna withGojo’s Hollow Purpleat last. In the chapter, a recorder suddenly breaks into the domain from behind Sukuna, from whichInumaki uses his Cursed Speech to freeze Sukuna in place.
Though surprising, Inumaki has previously used electronics and modern gadgets like megaphones to amplify his Cursed Technique and use it in unique ways and the simple yet sneaky trick ofusing the recorder could not be more genius.That said, it is still uncertain whether Yuta will be able to successfully use Hollow Purple and how much damage it will do to Sukuna.

Inumaki Proves Cursed Speech is the Perfect Support Cursed Technique
ConsideringInumaki lost his arm during the Shibuya Arcand only barely survived the ordeal, no one expected him to jump into the final battle against Sukuna at Shinjuku, which only makes his latest stunt all the more surprising. That said, Inumaki lost his arm to Sukuna back in Shibuya, which makes his involvement in Sukuna’s nearing defeat even sweeter than before.
It is also ironic that Sukuna was affected by one of Inumaki’s most iconic moves that he has used time and time again to immobilize his opponents throughout the series. Even Sukuna, powerful as he may be, has been temporarily paralyzed and, with this, Inumaki’s Cursed Speech, though draining, has proven itself to be the most useful support Cursed Technique in a pinch.
Overall, it is difficult to say whether Yuta’s Hollow Purple will defeat Sukuna once and for all.Yuta has been visibly strugglingto adjust to Gojo’s body and Cursed Technique but his and Inumaki’s efforts may just weaken Sukuna just enough for Yuji to re-enter the fray and perhaps even land the final blow on Sukuna.
Nonetheless, Inumaki’s entry has proven thatJujutsu Kaisen’s final battle still has surprises in store and could see more unexpected characters make a return in the final stretch of the fight.
