Star Trek Annual 2024was written by the regularStar Trekteam of Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly. They are joined for this issue by artist Rachael Stott. During the recently-concluded Tzenkethi story arc, chronicled in “Glass and Bone,” Data took leave of Starfleet. Data sees something that spooked him badly, and, realizing Starfleet would only hinder his search, leaves the organization he once called home.

Both Lore and Kahless,Day of Blood’sprimary antagonists, are still at large, planning their revenge on Sisko and the Federation. Furthermore,the nefarious Section 31 has plansof their own, and hints of those begin to form as well inStar Trek Annual 2024. The best of IDW’sStar Trekline is yet to come, andAnnual 2024is where it all begins.
