I’ve totally leaned into this: I have ten different streaming platform subscriptions and couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Streaming Services Worth Staying Subscribed To
Streaming Platform
Price per Month for Basic Subscription
Allows for downloads for offline viewing, making it the go-to streaming platform for downloading titles to watch while traveling without access to the internet.
Access to Hulu originals and can be purchased with ESPN+ and Disney+ in a bundle.

Best hub for live sporting events without having to pay for traditional cable.
The most family-friendly option on the market, it features many classic Disney films as well as new Disney and National Geographic releases.

The only way to access Apple Originals, such as Ted Lasso and Dickinson.
Amazon Prime
Comes with an Amazon Prime subscription and offers access to many old classic TV shows and films that are difficult to find elsewhere.
Included with Amazon Prime Membership or $8.99

Peacock offers access to on-demand titles and hosts 24/7 on-air channels that function similarly to traditional cable.
Paramount+
Hosts older classic Paramount titles. It is also one of the first places new films will appear on streaming platforms after they run in theaters.
The platform focuses on representation within original content and does not have ads.
Only way to access fan favorites like Game of Thrones and allows for downloading titles for offline viewing.
Choosing theright streaming service for youcan be daunting as there are many to choose from, but it often boils down to the genre of content you enjoy, price, and availability at your location.
Services I Have Canceled
Through the years of subscribing to various streaming platforms, some have garnered my loyalty and some have just fallen a bit short. As streaming platforms become even more impressive and have begun adding more original titles to the line-up, a few have become obsolete. Over the past few years, I have canceled the following:
Both Philo and Sling TV didn’t offer enough content I was interested in to justify the price. YouTube Premium didn’t have the same user experience I was used to with other more streamlined platforms. Lastly, with the other subscriptions I was already paying for, I could gain access to most titles hosted by Discover+, thereby making it redundant.
