Still, aSupernaturalreunion seems better suited toVought Rising; Ackles' Soldier Boy is a main character in the prequel, so there’s more room to create a meta role for Padalecki.

After all, there are plenty of Compound V-enhanced supes, like Soldier Boy and Stormfront, who have looked the same for decades. However, with so much happening in the original series, andThe Boys' cast of charactersgrowing more packed by the moment, it’s hard to imagine Padalecki would have much more than a cameo inThe Boysseason 5. If Kripke really wants to do Padalecki’s long-awaited cameo justice,The Boys' prequel is a better fit.
