This gives you a way to perserve common resources, such asBright Blood inHyper Light Breaker, to use on other important tasks in the Overgrowth.
How To Farm Gold Rations
Complete Cycles And Explore Hidden Labs
The easiest way to farm Gold Rations is tocomplete Cycles by going through all four Rezes. Rezes are your"lives"inHyper Light Breaker, and go away once you die out in the Overgrowth. Dying four times will end a Cycle, causing the Overgrowth to reform and eliminate any temporary benefits you’ve collected over the course of multiple runs.
It costs resources to activate the Overgrowth again once a Cycle has finished. You may have to sell some old gear to get the Material and Bright Blood you need to create a new world composition.
Returning to the Telepad in the Hub will give you the option to reset the Overgrowth after a Cycle concludes. When you do this, you will also rank up based on your actions in the previous Cycle. During this process,you are rewarded Gold Rations when your Rank increases. The more impressive activities you completed in the last Cycle, the more points you’ll earn to reach new Ranks.
Another way to get Gold Rations is todiscover hidden Labs in the Overgrowthas you explore your map. Labs are underground bases that are indicated by glowing silver and purple trapdoor platforms occasionally seen in a run. Labs are locked when you find them, so youneed to find rare items called Keys to unlock these areas. You can usually find a Key by opening chests throughout the Overgrowth.
