On a single Disney+ account, you can watch on up to four devices simultaneously. “Devices” means anything that you use to watch Disney+, like your computer, phone, tablet, smart TV, and game console. Every device can stream something different. It doesn’t matter where these devices are located physically, nor do they all need to be on the same network.
If you attempt to stream on a fifth device, you’ll see error code 75 which explains that the device limit has been reached.
How to Watch Disney+ on More Devices Simultaneously
There is one way around this limit, but it requires some forward-thinking. You candownload Disney+ content for offline viewing; watching something offline doesn’t count towards the four device limit. Instead, you can download the same title on up to ten devices. As long as you have enough storage space, connect to the internet every 30 days, and remain subscribed, you can watch your downloads with no impact to the four simultaneous streams.
Can You See Who Is Watching Disney+?
Disney+ doesn’t show which devices are currently in use, nor does it provide an activity log. This means that you can’t easily boot an individual off if you want to make space.

How Many Profiles Can You Have on Disney+?
You cancreate profiles on Disney+which is a way to separate everyone who uses your account. Viewing history, watchlist, parental controls, and other settings are all contained to a profile. it’s possible to have up to seven profiles on a single Disney+ account.
This means that while you could have seven people sharing a Disney+ account (or technically more, if multiple people use the same profile), only four of them can stream simultaneously.
How Many Simultaneous Streams Do Competitors Offer?
With four simultaneous streams, Disney+ is more generous than most competitors.
Netflix also offers four, but only on its most expensive Premium plan; those on Basic or Standard get one or two, respectively. Amazon Prime Video allows three streams on the same account and up to two simultaneous streams of the same content. HBO Max also sets the limit at three.
Standing out from the crowd, Apple TV+ supports up to six simultaneous streams.
You’re Unlikely to Reach Disney+’s Stream Limit
It should be uncommon for you to hit the four device limit, unless you’re a member of a large household where everyone often watches Disney+ simultaneously. If that’s the case, download the shows and movies to get around the limit.
If that’s not possible (perhaps due to storage limitations) or you find it inconvenient, it might be worthwhile investing in multiple Disney+ accounts (each account needs a unique email address.) If you go down that route, consider an annual subscription to save money.
