Pascal was facetiously asked how he feels about Grogu being spotted crowd-surfing during San Diego Comic-Con 2024, with the video showcasing a puppet of the lovable Baby Yoda being lifted above the crowd of one of SDCC’s various panels. In response, Pascal replied:
“Oh my god. He’s in his party phase, Baby Yoda’s in his party phase. I can’t stop him.You gotta let them go through their, you know, cross the threshold… I’m loosening up, letting him party without me, unsupervised.”

Pascal has a natural charisma and warmth to him that sees him work well as dad characters, which is admittedly ironic considering Pascal does not have any children of his own.
