Halo Season 2’s Locations Were A Major Highlight
The Covenant Corvette Was One Of Many Stunning Settings
After a somewhat divisive season 1,Haloseason 2 expands the world of the show in some exciting ways. Reach City, for example, which was featured in season 1, is explored with greater depth in season 2, and it serves as the setting for one of the show’s most action-packed episodes. Season 2 also introduces several new locations, including Sanctuary, the moody planet featured in the premiere episode, and Aleria, a mining planet where Master Chief and his companions take refuge after the Fall of Reach.
The unique locations of the video game franchise are a major reason why it’s so beloved, and season 2 of the Paramount show really delivers on this front.
Haloseason 2’s locations are one way in which the show’s sophomore outing was more like the games. InHalo: Combat Evolved, multiple levels are spent fighting through the corridors of a Covenant ship, and the series largely recreates this feeling.Haloseason 2 also finally seesMaster Chief land on the Halo ringitself, which is instantly familiar with its coniferous trees, mountains, and general lush greenery.
