Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S10 and Note10 are latest to get Samsung’s One UI 4.1 update

Samsung has been on a roll with its software update cycle. The company impressed everyone by quickly rolling outAndroid 12-basedOne UI 4to a bunch of its premium and flagship devices months ahead of schedule. Then, following theGalaxy S22’slaunch with One UI 4.1 in February, the Korean smartphone maker announced earlier this week that the latest version of its skin would be coming toolder Galaxy Fold and Flip, S-series, Note, and A-series devices, complete withseveral new features and changes in tow. After an update started making its way to theGalaxy Z Fold3,Flip3, theGalaxy S21series in some parts of the world, Samsung is following up with a patch for the Note20

The One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 is rolling out in South Korea (viaXDA) with the CVC5 firmware and the March 2022 security patch. Apart from those new features, the update also fixes Immersive mode, which now properly hides the status and navigation bar. As for the Galaxy S21 series, the latest release of One UI is making its way to Canadian owners on Rogers, Telus, and Sasktel networks with the CVBA firmware (viaReddit).

One UI 4.1 introduces Live Sharing in Google Duo, enhanced Object Eraser functionality with the option to remove shadows and reflections, and deeper Grammarly integration in the Galaxy keyboard. It also brings several new camera features already seen on the Galaxy S22 series like Night Portrait, telephoto portrait video, enhanced Snapchat integration, and pet recognition.

If you live in any of the regions mentioned above and own the S21 or Fold3/Flip3, you can check if the One UI 4.1 firmware is available to you by navigating toSettings > Software updateand tapping theDownload and installbutton. A wider rollout should commence starting next week, as Samsung has traditionally been quick to expand the availability of its updates to more devices and regions worldwide.

Rolling out to Note20 series

Samsung is rapidly expanding the rollout of One UI 4.1 to more of its flagship devices and regions. The update is now available for theGalaxy Note20series in Switzerland (viaSamMobile). Additionally, Galaxy S21 owners in Norway, Germany, and parts of the EU are also getting the update now (viaReddit).

Samsung continues rolling out One UI 4.1 rapidly for all its premium and flagship devices. The update is now available for the Snapdragon and Exynos variants of theGalaxy S21 FEin the Asian and European markets along with carrier-locked models in the US (viaSamMobile). One UI 4.1 is also making its way to theGalaxy S10, and Note10 series in Europe with the HVC6 firmware. Verizon, too, hasannouncedthe roll out of One UI 4.1 for Galaxy Note20 Ultra units on its network.
