Quick Links
InElden Ring, there are dozens of different ways to build your character, and one of the more interesting ones is Faith/Strength build. While there is no definitive ‘strongest’ build, many combinations can bring your Tarnished to new heights of power. However, these builds require heavy exploration and collection of specific items throughout The Lands Between.
One of the strongest weapons throughoutElden Ringis theBlasphemous Blade, an effective greatsword forall melee buildsthat scales with Strength/Faith and deals fire damage. The weapon will also heal the player upon defeating an enemy and restoreHP when landing hits with the Ash of War: Taker’s Flames. This allows the Tarnished to stay in the fight longer, working especially well against bosses with large openings.

Elden Ring: Best Weapons For Intelligence & Faith Builds
Elden Ring players who want to create characters proficient in both Sorceries and Incantations should invest in these weapons and magic catalysts.
The Best Strength/Faith Build
Devour The Gods!
Due to the main weapon of the build dealing with fire damage, the build should focus on pumping up the potential for fire damage as much as possible. With the Wondrous Physick flask, equipping the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear will boost fire damage by 20%.
The two buff incantations,Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strengthwill boost your damage by 15% and 20%, respectively, with the ladder only boosting fire damage. Because of this, you can slot in other fireincantations to supplement the build, such as black flame for damage over time and unendurable frenzy for burst damage.

Fire Knight Armor Set
As for the talismans, the Shard of Alexander will boost the damage of Taker’s Flames by 15%, while the Two-Handed Sword Talisman will boost all standard attacks made with the Blasphemous Blade by an additional 15% while two-handing the weapon.
The Talisman of the Dread will boost the potency of magma by 14%, increasing the damage of Taker’s Flames even more. Finally, due to the HP restoring effect of the Blasphemous Blade, utilizing the Ritual Shield Talisman for 30% increased damage resistance while at full health is an incredibly strong option.

The Magma Blade is a great secondary weapon for this build, scaling with Strength/Faith and benefiting from the buffs to fire damage as well as the Talisman of the Dread.

Where To Find Every Item
Setting up this build is much easier said than done, however, asyou must progress through most of the base gameand a good portion of the expansion to collect all the needed items.
For example, the Shard of Alexander isn’t acquired until youfinish Alexander’s questlinein Crumbling Farum Azula, the penultimate location in the base game. However, this build functions incredibly well even without the new items, so feel free to get everything needed from the base game before tackling the expansion’s content.

The most notable items from the expansion for this build include theTalisman of the Dreadand the Two-Handed Sword Talisman, which buff the Blasphemous Blade considerably.
Before acquiring these items, one option to use for this build is the Fire Scorpion Charm, which raises fire damage by 10% at the cost of 15% increased damage taken. Another option includes the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, boosting your physical damage negation by 20% in order to counteract the Fire Scorpion Charm’s debuff.

Other Gear Options For a Faith/Strenght Build
Versatility of Talisman of the Dread
With the Talisman of the Dread boosting the potency of all magma, other strong contenders can replace the Blasphemous Blade if you find yourself too strong. TheAsh of War: Eruptionis an excellent skill for strength weapons and dealing fire and magma damage. The newFire Knight’s Greatswordis an excellent pick for this skill, given its massive range and scaling, but any colossal sword will do just fine.
TheMagma Wyrm’s Scaleswordis another fantastic somber weapon that relies on its magma damage, making it a perfect fit for this build. Its skill, Magma Guillotine, has great stagger potential and does excellent poise damage, which is ideal for chunking bosses and mini-bosses. However, nothing comes close to the effectiveness of the Blasphemous Blade for a top tier Strength/Faith build inElden Ring.
