With Goku having successfully reached the Third Demon World, numerous factors in his favor are noticeably absent for Vegeta and Piccolo, as Bulma fixes the Supreme Kai’s ship to hopefully cross over to the Demon Realm. Vegeta, Piccolo, and Bulma face two specific roadblocks:the entire traveling group must have Demon Realm traits like pointy ears and a PIN, which neither possess inDragon Ball DAIMA.
The Demon Realm has existed inDragon Balllore for decades but was never explored explicitly untilDAIMA, with Demon King Gomah’s plot to consolidate power, includingthe shrinking wish that depowers Goku and his friends.Given its esoteric and ominous nature in previousDragon Ballmedia, it makes sense that the Demon Realm is not especially easy to reach. InDragon Ball DAIMAepisode #3, Goku joins Shin aboard Glorio’s plane to go to the Demon Realm, where he meets Warp-sama, and the group must pass two major tests:all passengers must be demons, and the pilot must present a PIN. These are non-negotiable requirements to enter the Demon Realm, with Warp-sama closely inspecting, only narrowly letting them pass as Shin disguises Goku’s ears to look more pointy. While Piccolo’s ears would pass, Vegeta lacks Shin’s trickery, although they could use Kibito for similar effectsonce Bulma finishes her repairs inDragon Ball DAIMA.

While there’s still the matter of whether Panzy’s entrance totheDragon Ball DAIMAcastand whether she can help the crew, there’s no way for them to know the PIN. Vegeta or Piccolo could stubbornly brute-force the four-digit code, and Shin’s telepathic attempt to pass it along had ambiguous results but could wind up helping.
