Why you’ll love the Google Pixel Buds Pro

Every year, we see a lot of new earbuds and headphones. Each pair has its own something special, whether that’s a cool design, better noise cancelation, or great battery life. In 2022, the Pixel Buds Pro brought a little bit of everything to the table, making them stand out against the crowd. While they may not be the best currently on the market, they offer “a perfect balance” of quality and ease of use. They also look super cute, if we’re being honest. Best of all, they brought back the wonderful full gesture controls from the 2020 Pixel Buds without bringing back that horrible connectivity that plagued its predecessor.

These earbuds can play your favorite music for up to seven hours, even if you keep the noise-canceling feature on the entire time. If you choose to shut that off, you’ll get an even more impressive 11 hours of playtime on a single charge. Add the charging case to the mix, you get up to 31 hours, which is fantastic. And while many earbuds claim that solo mode works with either earbuds while only actually working on the right (or the left, if you’re lucky), the Pixel Buds Pro can be used individually on either side when you want to keep listening to that podcast while keeping an ear out for the kids or the UPS guy about to skip you for the third time in a row because you “weren’t there” to sign for it.

The Pixel Buds Pro have the ability to link up to two devices at the same time, such as your phone and your laptop, and you may seamlessly switch between devices. While multipoint has been finicky on other headphones, Google’s software does a surprisingly good job of handing the audio off between phones, tablets, computers, and even TVs, for when you want to binge your new episodes at midnight without waking the whole house. Now that the earbuds are available for a super competitive $150, it would be a shame to miss out on this deal.
