It’s been a long time coming, but Disney+ is finally joining other major streaming platforms to give you more control over what appears on the main screen.

Remove a Title from the Continue Watching Row

Disney announced that you may now quickly and easily remove any title from your Continue Watching row. That’s a big help if you accidentally start watching something by mistake, or if you just don’t want to stick with a show.

The method for removing a title from the Continue Watching bar depends on where you’re watching Disney+.Disney explainsmore about the process when watching on a TV:

Within the “Continue Watching” row itself, you’ll need to navigate to the title you want, press and hold the button on your remote to remove, and then select Remove.

However, if you are on the title’s Details page, simply navigate to the Remove icon on the right side and select Remove. Rest assured though, your watch progress will not be deleted, even if removed from the “Continue Watching” row.

From the Continue Watching row on a smartphone or tablet, navigate to the title and select thethree dots. Then selectRemove. On the web, place your cursor over the tile and click theRemoveicon from the top right corner to clear a title from Continue Watching.

The feature is already rolling out on the web, Apple TV, and iOS devices. Other devices will see the feature in the coming weeks.

The only content you can’t remove from the Continue Watching row are live events. They will automatically disappear after the event concludes.

You might notice that you also see titles in the Continue Watching row that you’ve never watched. That’s likely because other members of your household watch content on your profile. If that’s a constant problem, you might try creating an account for everyone who watches content from the streaming service.

Disney+ Is One of the Top Streaming Options Available

While the streaming landscape is full of different options, Disney+ remains one of the best available. Being able to watch everything Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and much more provides something for pretty much everyone.

There are a number of great ways tomake the most of your subscription to Disney+. Some include watching new releases immediately and downloading new content to watch offline.

If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, Disney+ is also a great place to go. In March 2025, the servicerolled out a 24/7 stream of everyone’s favorite clan from Springfield.

However, while you might be tempted to share your password for Disney+, it’s a good idea not to. In 2024,Disney+ unveiled a new set of password-sharing rulesto better crack down on the process and make it more difficult.
