With The Lucky Dragon update toDisney Dreamlight Valley, players can bring Mulan and Mushu to the valley and help them celebrate their culture with the other villagers, especially with The Guardian Party quest. Similarly to Mulan’s Shadow Puppet Theater quest, Mushu is eager to host a celebratory event but needs your help.
Before you can begin The Guardian Party quest, you must unlock Mushu and bring his friendship up to level 7. Additionally, though the quest unlocks at level 7, you must have completed all previous friendship quests with Mushu before this one. The final remaining requirements include unlocking the Sunlit Plateau, Vitalys Mines, Mirabel, and Simba.

Help Mushu Celebrate With The Other Dreamlight Villagers
As long as all the requirements have been met, you can start the quest by speaking with Mushu, who will inform you that he would like to throw a party. Luckily, he already has the perfect venue, the Vitalys Mines, and after following him there, he will ask you to deliver some party invitations for him.
Specifically, he needs invitations delivered to Mulan, The Beast, Mirabel, and Simba. To complete this task, you track down all these villagers and invite them to the party, as seen inQuick Tips’s video on YouTube.
Once you’ve finished, report back to Mushu, and he’ll let you know it’s time to decorate.For the Modular Dragon Decorations, you will need 28x Brick, 35x Hardwood, 7x Rubies, and 2x Gold Ingots.
While most of these must be gathered and mined the traditional way, be sure tocheck out Kristoff’s Stall inDisney Dreamlight Valley, as he often sells some of these materials, which will save you the trouble of collecting them yourself.
Remember, as part of the recent updates, you are more likely to find rare materials if you mine while you have a glowing, sparkly stamina bar. This happens once you’ve consumed any preparedDisney Dreamlight Valleyrecipesafter filling your normal stamina bar. So try to maintain this boosted level of stamina while searching for the necessary materials.
How To Unlock All Inside Out 2 Companions In Disney Dreamlight Valley (Memory Mania Event)
Inside Out 2 has come to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the form of new companions, but you will need to restore Riley’s memories to unlock them.
Once you’ve gathered and crafted the base materials, head toone of the crafting stations in the Valleyand build two of the Modular Dragon Decorations. The decorations will be in three pieces: the head, body, and tail.
Each piece will need to be crafted twice before the decorations are ready.When everything is prepared, go ahead and place them in the valley and report back to Mushu.
Mushu will let you know it’s time for the celebration to begin;all you need to do is ring the gong to get the party started. Additionally, you can dress for the occasion, which consists of wearing some red and gold attire, but the quest will continue the same whether you do this or not. Once the gong has been rung, speak with Mushu to learn about all the party activities.

The Pouch Hunt
The first activity on the list is the Red Pouch Hunt. This straightforward activity includes running through the mine to collect seven different red pouches. They can be a little tricky to spot, given their color, but similarly to every collectible,they will begin to sparkle as you approach them, and all seven will be found along the main walking path.Therefore, you do not need to worry about checking every crevice of the mine to find them all.
Cooking Sesame Balls
The second activity involves cooking a delicious snack, for which Mushu will provide the recipe.The recipe is for Sesame Balls, which require Rice, Ginger, Soya, Wheat, and Seaweed.These ingredients can be gathered relatively easily in the Valley, so once you’ve collected everything, head to any cooking station to prepare the recipe. Finally, bring the freshly made Sesame Balls to Mushu to complete this Guardian Party activity.

Mushu’s Piñata Extravaganza
The last activity at the party is Mushu’s Piñata Extravaganza which includes finding and opening three piñatas that Mushu has placed throughout the mines.Luckily, they’re all close to each other and in a location that should be familiar to those who remember the Seeds of Memories quest, which eventually unlocksDreamlight Fruit inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Head back to the room in the Vatalys Mines that was part of that quest, and you’ll find all three Piñatas outside of it.
With everything completed, go ahead and open your red pouches and return to Mushu to wrap up the event.He will thank you for all your help, and the last thing to do is take a picture with him to commemorate the event.
