The upcoming Netflix action-comedy, which debuts in 2025, will be the firstCameron Diaz moviein more than a decade following her retirement from acting in 2014, the year in which she starred inAnnie,Sex Tape, andThe Other Woman. Directed byHorrible Bosses' Seth Gordon and also starring Jamie Foxx, the movie follows two former CIA operatives who are now suburban parents. It opens with Cameron Diaz delivering a speech about being rejuvenated and feeling alive again that could be interpreted as a regular marital conversation, but is intercut with a series of high-octane action scenes including Jamie Foxx using a flamethrower.
