Based on the manga by Aki Hamaji and produced by CloverWorks,Bochhi the Rock’s first season was an instant hit and was immediately followed by the announcement that the franchise would be receiving a duology of compilation films. Owing to the high demand from fans for a second season, the first of these films,Bocchi the Rock! Re:was an instant success, going on to claim the top spot at the Japanese box office within only a few days of its release.

Given the widespread support, there is no doubt thatBocchi the Rock! Re: Re:will also be widely successful, hopefully urging its creators to give the series a proper continuation with an official second season. Hopefully, both ofBocchi the Rock!’s new compilation films will also make their way to theaters outside of Japan shortly as well.
