Windseal Gate
The second spot is located near the Valley of Despair. To access the right location, you must firstbeat the Stone VanguardandTiger Vanguard bossesto obtain key itemsSterness of StoneandKeeness of Tiger. These itemsunlock a gate near the Valley of Despair. With the gate unlocked, head past and to the right. Pass under an overhang to find the second spot located near the bottom of the stairs.

Mad Tiger is an aggressive boss inBlack Myth: Wukongwiththree powerful attacks and two combos. Countering these attacks will require you to time his movements and be quick on your feet with any dodges. Mad Tiger’s attacks are as follows:
Double Claw Swing
Mad Tiger swings his right arm from below and then his left arm from above, slashing his claws at you both times.
Triple Claw Swing
Like the Double Claw Swing, Mad Tiger swings his claws at you similarly but adds a third attack where both claws are swung outwards.
Echo Roar
Mad Tiger roars, shaking the arena and causing rocks to fall from above.
Kick Combo
Mad Tiger stomps once, jumps, and then kicks downwards as he unleashes a claw swipe. He leaps up and hits the ground with his claws as he lands.
Swinging Combo
Mad Tiger cracks his knuckles, roars, and begins swinging his claws in an attack.
These attacks are aggressive, and some candeal heavy damage, so do your best to dodge them. When he initiates the Double Claw Swing, dodge to the right and left, opposite of his attack. The Triple Claw Swing requires a backward dodge. The rocks from the Echo Roar attack fall in front of Mad Tiger, so keep your distance here. When performing the Kick Combo, Mad Tiger is temporarily delayed between attacks, so use that time wisely. In the Swinging Combo, run away when Mad Tiger cracks his knuckles and dodge as needed.

Watch for when Mad Tiger’s arms get stuck in the ground. This is your opportunity to dodge his upcoming attack.
During any delays, Mad Tigerbecomes vulnerable to attacks. Use this time to engage. Initiate an attack and then useImmobilizeto keep Mad Tiger immobile a bit longer. While he’s immobile, continue attacking and doing more damage.
How To Beat Tiger Vanguard Boss In Black Myth: Wukong (Chapter 2)
Tiger Vanguard is a chapter two boss in Black Myth: Wukong. It is important to time swings correctly and not get baited by an invincible decoy.
Rock Solid, which is obtained after defeating Tiger Vanguard, is another great choice in spell casting thatwill leave Mad Tiger stunnedso you’re able to follow up with more attacks. Personally, I love these two spells and use them frequently in boss fights to give me more time to attack. Feel free to use your Spirit andother abilitiesduring this fight as well, includingRed Tides, which will hopefully catch Mad Tiger on fire. Once you’ve beaten the Mad Tiger boss, you’ll get the following rewards:
TheMad TigerSpirit is a great asset to your Spirit collection. With it, you’ll be able tochange into a tiger and unleash a devastating roar attackthat damages enemies and causes them to fly back. It’s a great attack and a personal favorite when I’m feeling overwhelmed during fights inBlack Myth: Wukong.
