Aside from all the dozens of minor fixes, Larian Studios also sharedan encouraging update on theBaldur’s Gate 3toolkit which is shaping up to be a powerful means of modding the game. Yet with all those improvements already confirmed, Larian still has more up its sleeve.

TheBaldur’s Gate 3developer finalized the update by stating thatPatch 7 won’t be the final update released for the game, insisting that even more content and features are on the way. While it’s unknown when these patches will go live, the studio confirmed that players can expect the arrival of crossplay and a photo mode amongst other “community-requested” options. Given the sheer size ofBaldur’s Gate 3, it’s difficult to imagine the team adding anything more to it.

As for whenBaldur’s Gate 3players can expect Patch 7 to go live,there’s still no solid release date but the update’s closed beta begins on July 22. Those interested in trying it out can register to join the playtest but just be aware that entrants are selected to join randomly. Those who don’t make the cut will just have to start another playthrough in anticipation of all the tweaks and changes in the pipeline.
