These titan hunters often depart on expeditions and are summoned to protect the city when there are breaches in the walls. Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable - Gameplay Details

The Player’s Main Goal Will Be To Eliminate The Invading Titans By Hitting Them In Their Weak Spot

The upcoming title will be a platforming VR game that puts players in control of a Titan hunter in the cities protected by the walls. The game seems to be set entirely within the confines of the cities, in fact and will challenge players with Titans that have breached the cities’ protection, much like in the manga and the anime series. The main goal inAttack on Titan VR: Unbreakablewill be totraverse the locations using the franchise’s Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gearto zipline across districts and neutralize threats. Of course, players will use weapons, too.

While the ODM grants them enhanced maneuverability and speed to not only reach faraway areas but also dodge incoming attacks, members of the regiment use their traditional dual blades to carve away at Titans. Reflective of how they are portrayed in the manga and anime, theTitans’ weak spots are usually the back of their necks, so the quickest way to eliminate them will be to move around them until there is an opening to strike them and take them down. InAttack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, players will also be able to hit other parts of the invading Titans.

It is possible, for instance, to cut off a Titan’s arm, which reduces the threat level they pose, or even their legs, which could make them stumble and create an easy means of striking their neck. The difficulty involved with eliminating Titans should increase as players progress through the story but, to accompany that growing challenge, players will also unlock new and stronger blades, as well as firearms to use against the enemies. They will also get new skills and abilities, which should aid them in their efforts while playingAttack on Titan VR: Unbreakable.

It is uncertain if specific minutia for the gear will be translated into gameplay. The ODM, for instance, tends to run on a gas mechanism that needs fueling. For now, it is unclear if the gas for the ODM will run out and if players will need to keep an eye out for how much they consume – and possibly even refuel to continue their Titan-eliminating mission. It is also unconfirmed if the regular pair of ultrahard steel blades inAttack on Titan VR: Unbreakablewill have the disposable sectionsas they do in the original material.

For reference, the standard blades used by the regiment are somewhat like box cutter blades, which can be broken off into sections.

The game seems to narrow in on the early stages of the story, so theending ofAttack on Titanshould not be portrayed in the upcoming game. The main focus seems to be on using the traversal mechanics in virtual reality to experience Titan-slaying from a more immersive standpoint.

Levi’s Most Difficult Choice Saved Attack on Titan, & I Can Prove it

One of Attack on Titan’s most controversial topics is who Levi should have chosen to revive with the Titan serum, and I feel the answer is clear.

As challenges get tougher, players will have to adapt and use the new gear at their disposal and their expertise with the ODM to surpass them. While early access starts in July, more details about the game, its next chapters, and its coop mode should be shared leading up to the official release ofAttack on Titan VR: Unbreakable.
