AI Helps Craft Unique Bedtime Stories in Amazon’s Create With Alexa Feature
Amazon is helping parents make the bedtime routine a bit more fun with a unique feature for any Echo Show. Here’s what you need to know about Create With Alexa.
AI Creates a Unique Story That Comes to Life
Any parent knows that bedtime can be tough. But Amazon announced the new Create With Alexa featurein a blog postthat is designed to craft the perfect tale.
Available on any Echo Show, the feature uses both conversational and generative artificial intelligence to create unique stories with a narrative, colorful graphics, and background music. All of that is shown on the screen of the Echo Show.

Made for kids 4-8, all they need to do is say “Alexa, make me a story.” There are a few more prompts to select from. They’ll select a theme, like space exploration or underwater. Next, it’s time to choose and name a character.
Finally, kids will choose a color theme and select adjectives like silly. After that, Alexa will then create a story that ranges from five to 10 lines.

Each of the stories is told in five unique scenes with sound and visual effects. Even if the same prompts are chosen in the future, AI will confirm the story is different.
If the created story is a hit, you can save it to replay later or to share with others.

Parents can select from a wide variety of free templates. It’s only available in English and available in the United States. You can read more about the interesting science powering the feature in another Amazonblog post.
While Alexa already offers a ton offun games for kids, Create With Alexa is a truly customizable way for children to enjoy the Echo Show.
